LOGO & THEME DESIGN CONTEST

 2010 Pride Fest Logo and Theme Design Contest

2010 marks the third annual Quad City Pridefest and for this year we are asking you to decide how best to represent pride in the QCA.  Design a logo that reflects the fun and celebration of a June Street Fair in Davenport, that reaches out to the entire Quad City community and that expresses the values and vision behind QCPride.

Contest Goals:

A theme and logo that celebrates Pride and welcomes all to the 2010 Quad Cities Pride Fest.

Contest Guidelines:

• All entries should be multi-color designs, suitable for use on t-shirts, buttons, posters or advertising fliers. 

• All entries must contain the text “QC” or “Quad City”, the words "Pride Fest," (either together as pridefest, or separately), and "2010." 

• Upper or lower case, all caps, fonts, etc., can be a determined by your design.

• All entries must be submitted electronically.  

• All logo design entries must be submitted in either jpeg or gif format with, with a pixel density of no less than 300 per inch.

• All entry submissions must include the following information for the entrant:

  • Name

  • Telephone

  • E-mail address

  • Postal mailing address

To be considered, entries must be received via e-mail to admin@qcpride.org no later than April 1, 2010

Announcements of the winner will be made on or before April 12.

Winning entries will be chosen by a panel of judges selected by QC Pride, Inc.

Winners will receive prizes of $250 (First), $25 (Second) and $15 (third place).

The winning design will be used on event advertising and merchandise.

All entries become the property of QC Pride, Inc and may be used for educational purposes or developed for any other appropriate purpose associated with the organization.
