The 2012 QC Pridefest
This festival, held June 2nd & 3rd, is a street fair, a shopping mecca, a non-stop cavalcade of regional entertainment, a carnival, an interactive arts & sports jubilee, a smorgasbord of summer treats, and an open air picnic with a few thousand close friends, all capped off with a night of fireworks and a “new-fashioned” revival!

What is QCPride Fest?
QC Pridefest, held the first weekend of June each year, is the culmination of 12 months of dedicated volunteers and community members taking the shape of the best party of the year in the Quad Cities. Designed as a festival to celebrate the diversity of the Quad Cities, and particularly the vibrant GLBT community that calls the area home, PrideFest brings together the various aspects of everyone’s life: families, churches, schools, businesses, organizations, artists, entertainers, leaders and just about anyone else you can imagine. PrideFest is a street fair, a shopping mecca, a non-stop cavalcade of regional entertainment, a carnival, an interactive arts & sports jubilee, a smorgasbord of summer treats, and an open air picnic with a few thousand close friends, all capped off with a night of fireworks and a “new-fashioned” revival. Too much to fathom? Seeing is believing, so mark you calendar now for Pridefest 2012!
